We now present more pedal thickened rainbow molasses, that I hesitate to say, squashes competition at recreating the sound of the 90's.  Yes, even in today's perverse electronic year of our lord 2011, there are young people in California creating analog garage soundscapes reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine, The Smashing Pumpkins, and many more familiar drug addled day trips leading to glorious evaporation in an atmosphere composed mostly of nitrogen and big muffs.  Echolalia is the first release from up and coming band Pauser and is an incredibly noisy and emotional tribute to Clay Cobb, a fallen band mate whose memory lives on in this album with every distorted open fifth and blood curdling whine.  This is a free download available here at Slab Yard and is recommended to fans of the outrageously thick and unintelligible 90's sound of guitars and pure, teenage fervor.
