A free collection of music, by Gavin Neves, the self-proclaimed 'Head Mouse' Of The Doormice. Which is: A Slowly building psych/grunge project based out of san jose. These were recorded in Gavins' bedroom in late 2009 and all of 2010. Most of these songs were recorded in a state of extreme insomnia, intentionally. A good handful, were recording projects made for his girlfriend while she was away at school during the fall of 2010. The production and recording method became completely obscured due to the ridiculous amounts of insomnia induced upon himself. Using unorthodox methods to record the songs, such as overdubbing using external computer speakers to play drum tracks and record them back through the mic on the computer, a uniquely grotesque and beautiful production quality emerges from the sleep deprived stupor. Clips from odd movies were recorded over each other while being played back at the same time, recording tracks that were exactly the same filtered through layers and layers of live multi-tracks that in-turn created a unusually dramatic  harmony of noise. These 14 free songs are the result of cheap equipment, rotten brain cells, and absolute passion.
