Sweeney Schragg plays guitar and composes tunes for the jazz trio Quasimodal (www.quasimodaljazz.com).  He joins the Slab Yard Sound roster as a singer/songwriter and guitarist.  With tunes that sit in the territory between '50s jazz and present-day Americana, he aspires to write about the things that Faulkner tells us to write about:  "the old verities and truths of the heart, the old universal truths lacking which any story is ephemeral and doomed — love and honor and pity and pride and compassion and sacrifice."

Slab Yard Sound and Sweeney Schragg have released an album called "Blues at 11:00" as of March 2012.  Check out some demo tracks below!
